Test candidates perform better when they know what to expect and now with a new service from IELTS, test takers in China will be better prepared and more confident than ever!
Using a free online training and confidence building course available today, registered Chinese IELTS candidates will receive authoritative and easily accessible help in their test preparation.
The course, named "Road to IELTS", is designed to be a self-access complement to other forms of training and takes the test candidate through all four parts of the test; reading, listening, speaking and writing. The material gives explanations of question types and provides tips on how to handle the tasks.
Because the training is conducted online,"Road to IELTS" can be accessed any time and from anywhere with an internet connection. Candidates can practice listening tasks under the same timed conditions as they would in the actual exam. In the Speaking section, sample videos take the learner through each stage of the speaking test providing models of good and less good practice and giving opportunities to analyse different interview techniques.
After completing the practice questions, test takers can view the correct answers, see their percentage score and compare this to the average performance for other participants in China. If unsatisfied, users can repeat the exercises in order to improve their answers.
"Road to IELTS"is available now and is open to any person
· Who has registered for an IELTS test: To access the course candidates can log on to http://ielts.etest.net.cn/ with their registration number.
· Who has registered as a member of China IELTS website: Registered members could have three-month access to Road to IELTS upon registration.
From the time of registration, test takers may access the materials as often as they wish until one week after their written test date "Road to IELTS" is divided into four different modules which will change every three months. Therefore, candidates who take IELTS more than once will potentially have access to different practice material.
