Shanghai. One of their challenges was convincing their students of the importance of making a plan before writing. As teachers, we know that making a plan before writing is important. Sometimes our students don't appreciate this and underestimate how a plan can really influence the quality of their writing.

One of the ways to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the IELTS test is the Complex Sentence Challenge. We are
developing some class room activities that help teachers with an issue they often tell us about: Complex sentences.
However, we need your help to find which complex
sentences need attention.
Give us examples of complex sentences that are
challenging for students you teach. And you will have the chance of winning one of our IELTS goody bags containing a whole load of stuff useful for teaching IELTS.
